And so it is that many wizards find their way to power, by spells so stale and rigid that to compare them to actual magic is to compare a painting with the piece of fruit it depicts. 

One bastion of magical power I have had very little opportunity to study, however, is that which is held by the Fae. It is an old magic, the kind of raw stuff that makes textbooks tremble and remember that they have some other place to be. Near as I can tell, the limitations of Fae magic are, well, non-existent. They are bound only by the promises they make to their monarchs. 

No matter how strong you are, in this humble wizard's opinion, it is imperative that you never underestimate the Fae.
